Brenda Pantano

Approaching nearly a decade of communications experience, Brenda Pantano is a proven franchise marketing professional who has created and elevated internal and external communications strategies for numerous companies. Today, she is the Senior Communications Manager for Authority Brands, the parent company of ten home service franchises and two business support functions. In her role, Brenda oversees the communications for five brands.

Brenda earned a Certified Franchise Executive designation in 2021 and serves as a Co-Chair for the Baltimore/Howard County, MD chapter of the Women’s Franchise Network.

Brenda has worked for Authority Brands since 2016, beginning with her role as the Communications Manager for The Cleaning Authority, where she elevated the communications strategy across social media, the national blog, internal and consumer facing email, and more. Brenda also successfully launched and managed online reputation management programs and an award-winning community outreach program for The Cleaning Authority. Most recently, she served as the Communications Manager for One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, where she was successful in crafting and implementing several new communications initiatives. These included the development of processes for local social media content and internal and consumer facing email communications, as well as developing processes for cross branded initiatives. Brenda also made great enhancements to the national blog and corporate social media pages.

Leaving college with a journalism degree and minors in writing and art + design, Brenda expanded her career into communications after taking a position at T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm that utilized her skills with the written word and experience in news to communicate company initiatives and updates. Prior to that, Brenda held numerous positions in journalism as a reporter. She has had her work featured in many newspapers and publications, including The New Britain Herald, The Bristol Press, Comcast SportsNet – Philadelphia, The Berks-Mont News, Boston.com, Millennial Youth, The Sacramento Bee, The Raleigh News & Observer, The Next Great Generation, and U.S. College Hockey Online.

Brenda’s freelance work has included serving as a freelance writer for VoxPop Communications and improving blog SEO for Conklin Media.

Brenda lives in Maryland with her husband, Michael. Outside of her career, Brenda enjoys running, is a Star Wars nerd, and a loyal Philadelphia sports fan.
