For instance, Wojtusik’s Nursery and Garden, at 750 Terryville Ave. in Bristol, has all of the fixings for the perfect Christmas tree at affordable prices.
Select artificial trees are on sale for 25 percent off. Owner Peter Wojtusik said many people look for artificial trees because of allergies or because they can keep them up longer without the trees drying out.
“They’re a high-end artificial tree that comes pre-lit,” he said.
The store also has a wide variety of ornaments that are generally priced between $1 and $3.99, with some as low as 70 cents.
In addition to the tree fixings, Wojtusik’s decorates their own unique mixed-greens wreaths made of holly, foxwood, cedar and different evergreens. A regular door wreath is priced starting at $16.95. Wreaths can go up to 60 inches wide. A 48-inch wreath is generally priced around $100.
Wojtusik’s will start their after-Christmas sale a week before Christmas. Tree trimmings, such as ornaments and lights, will be 20 to 50 percent off.
